Assessment Description

This assignment will incorporate each concept presented in this course to help you create a plan for living an integrated Christian life. The goal of this assignment is to apply what you have learned in this course, to create a vision for following Jesus in every area of your life.

Complete the “Personal Vision for Living an Integrated Christian Life” document to complete this assignment. Your answers should be based on the topic Resources for this course, your academic discipline, and future vocation.

The “Personal Vision for Living an Integrated Christian Life” document includes three parts:

Part One: Vision Plan

In this part, you will describe how you will stay connected to Christ and live a life that is centered in Jesus through intentional and consistent beliefs, commitments, and actions.

Part Two: Action Plan

This part is based on what you did in Part One. You will create a calendar that you can use to forecast intentional, consistent, and specific actions you will take to center your life in Jesus in each domain daily, monthly, and yearly. In doing so, you will create an action plan based on your vision that will be useful for the rest of your life. You may use a standard calendar or some other type of chart. Whatever you choose, be creative with your design.

Part Three: Action Plan Rationale

In this part, you will respond to questions about your action plan.

While APA style is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

This assignment uses a rubric. Please review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
