Interaction between humans and the environment

In Units 9-10 of CP World History & Geography, our primary focus was on the Cold War and the developing world.

In this final project there will be four parts. In the first part, you will create a graphic organizer. In the second part, you will synthesize your knowledge through the construction of an essay. The last part of the mid-term will allow you to play the role of an investigative historian and will ask you to provide primary and secondary sources. In the last part, you will connect content from the semester to current day affairs.

Part 1:

Create a thematic graphic organizer.

  • Choose 1 of the 5 World History themes
    • Interaction between humans and the environment
    • Development and interaction of cultures
    • State-building, expansion and conflict
    • Creation, expansion, and interaction of economic systems
    • Development and transformation of social structures
  • Create a chart/organizer that connects at least 5 events/concepts or ideas from each of the units to this theme.
