Discuss the working memory task

For this week’s discussion you will put on your cognitive psychologist hat and design your own working memory test. To do so you will create a list of items (it can be anything you like such as digits or words) and test someone’s working memory using your list. Alternatively, you can ask someone else to create a list of items and test your working memory. Once you have done this, please make sure you answer all parts of the questions below, supporting your discussion with information from the unit’s reading.

• Discuss the working memory task you created and the results you obtained.
• How do the results from your working memory task compare to previous research on working memory discussed in the unit’s readings?
