What is strategic management, and why is it critical to the success of an organization in meeting its goals and mission?

Your analysis of this case and your written submission should reflect an understanding of the critical issues of the case, integrating the material covered in the text, and present concise and well-reasoned justifications for the stance that you take.

Case analysis criteria: Your case analysis should consist of:

  • A brief analysis of the situation and pending decision problem, as presented in the case, and as relevant to your answer. This should be exceptionally brief, and you should assume the person reading the assignment is familiar with the details of the case.
  • Identification of the major issues surrounding the organization or individuals involved with the organization.
  • Identification of alternate courses of action to address the issues identified.
  • The decision or recommendation for action, with the appropriate supporting arguments.

The case question is designed to guide the direction of your analysis in the case. Your analysis should address and ultimately answer the question.

Additionally in the case analysis, make sure that you assess the value of multiculturalism and diversity in a globalenvironment.

You may discuss your case analysis assignment with the class, but you must submit your own original work.

Case analysis tips: Avoid common errors in case analyses, such as:

  • Focusing too heavily on minor issues.
  • Lamenting because of insufficient data in the case and ignoring creative alternatives.
  • Rehashing of case data — you should assume the reader knows the case.
  • Not appropriately evaluating the quality of the case’s data.
  • Obscuring the quantitative analysis or making it difficult to understand.

Typical “minus (–)” grades result from submissions that:

  • Are late.
  • Are not well integrated and lack clarity.
  • Do not address timing issues.
  • Do not recognize the cost implications or are not practical.
  • Get carried away with personal biases and are not pertinent to the key issues.
  • Are not thoroughly proofread and corrected.

Make sure your document includes:

  • Your name
  • Date
  • Course name and section number
  • Unit number
  • Case name
  • Page numbers

The case analysis should be a minimum of 4–6 pages long, double-spaced. Check for correct spelling, grammar, punctuation, mechanics, and usage. Citations should be in APA style.

Understanding the cost of containment can be used to help promote quality improvement within the health care organization.

Use APA (7th Edition) 150 words as response to this post, if in-text cite use reference.

Zachery Hadel

Understanding the cost of containment can be used to help promote quality improvement within the health care organization. According to Bill Rumsey cost containment is the business practice of maintaining expense levels to cut wasteful and unnecessary spending and improve profitability without risking long term damage and detriment to the company. So what are some cost containment strategies? According to first stop health some strategies include claims analysis, telemedicine or virtual care, or high deductable health plans.  These are all tools that can be used to promote quality improvement.

In telemedicine it can offer low cost and convience to the customer and provide the care they need without leaving their home. It also helps insurers by limiting high cost care like urgent cares and hospital visits. In claims analysis care can be looked at to identify chronic illnesses and comorbidities to develop patient care plans and case management strategies to lower the cost of these chronic illness. That way you are looking more into the medium to long term to manage costs. Do you think it is easier said than done to implement these strategies. In my opinion it takes alot of moving parts to implement but once it is it is cost effective and

Why should multiple sampling methodologies be considered for health care research?

PART 1

Write a 175- to 265-word response to the following questions:

  • Why should multiple sampling methodologies be considered for health care research? Explain.
  • What are the risks of sampling errors?

PART 2

Respond to classmates reponses to the same question below:

A.

Different sampling methodologies should be considered for health care research in order to define the objectives of the research being conducted. Some samplings will have errors and miscalculations of the survey results. The type of sampling method that will need to be used will depend on what research is being conducted. Elfil (2017), “Clinical research usually involves patients with a certain disease or a condition. The generalizability of clinical research findings is based on multiple factors related to the internal and external validity of the research methods. The main methodological issue that influences the generalizability of clinical research findings is the sampling method” (abstract). There are two different types of sampling errors which are called non-sampling errors and sampling errors. Some of these errors are Population specification error (non-sampling error), Sample frame error (non-sampling error), Selection Error (non-sampling error), Non-Response ( non-sampling error). Some of the sampling errors can be that the research data and finding are never 100% correct and could very well end up with miscalculations. It all depends on what research is being done on which sampling method is the correct one to use.

B.

In my best professional opinion I would state that multiple sampling methodologies for health care research purposes provides a growing path and ongoing opportunities encompassing the quality care being provided, ample opportunities for the personnel, which aides the organization (s) in which they’re employed with within its reputation and growth.

There’s clinical trials or even other regulatory programs. The goal is to not just serve one but many. During each process the team is determining what is the most useful approach. They must also determine the health care audience, the specificity guidelines they would need, and certainly what questions are they trying to solve for improvement factors. So I feel that caution is a must because each mission serves its own unique purpose and there will be errors presenting themselves regardless of the method (s) taken.

Sample bias occurs, sample frame errors arise, and most commonly systemic errors. The goal when such errors arise is to make the corrections necessary so there are fail safe plans or alternatives available in order to acquire the most accurate data possible. This is what sustains the integrity of what will be and hold the safety of those of high importance.
