This course examined 1877 – Today ( with History always in the making, some has not even hit the books yet!) We used OpenStax Chapters 17-32 (link leads to Chapter 17, but you can use any chapter) https://openstax.org/books/us-history/pages/17-introduction (Links to an external site.) and/or Exploring American Histories, Volume 2, Chapters 15 – 29.

For 15 points —(initial post) I want you to decide on a top list of at minimum 5 and maximum of 10 items, these can be inventions, people, events, etc. You get to be creative, informative, and share your opinion!

Rules, examples, and more directions — (1) You can be creative and do the top 3 best inventions of the time period studied and the worse 3. An example of the worst 3 could be the modern day Tesla truck window that were to be unbreakable and the guy broke them on demo.  (2) Try not to use information from a time period outside of 1877-Today, but here is an exception. You could mention after the Civil War the 15th Amendment gave black men the right to vote, however, it was not until the Civil Rights Movement of the 1960s that barriers to racial disenfranchisement were being removed.

I do not want to make too many suggestions or limitations, other than at least 5 pieces of information to 10 max and this time period has to be the focus. Please make this initial post by Sunday
