In terms of choosing a topic, as an example, you can use the following: “HR Metrics related to the following HR Functions: Cost per hire, turnover, absenteeism, performance management, etc.”

 1)  you can add a table of contents after your cover page, which will highlight the areas you will cover in your paper.

 2) You can start with an introduction of human capital in organization, the role of HR, then move to the evolution of the importance of metrics, related to HR. You can analyze/spotlight the contributions some of the modern day HR/business leaders have had on the topic you have chosen (e.g. David Reich, David Ulrich, Jack Welch, Stephen Covey, etc., and the list of others outlined in your course under Literature Review Overview).

3) Then at the end, provide a conclusion of how metrics has played a role in today’s business world. You need to analyze how it is used in companies that are household names (Walmart, Costco, Amazon, Colgate, Johnson & Johnson, Trader Joes,’ etc.)

4) All of the information can be summarized or analyzed, based on whichever approach you decide.
