Format

The paper should have an introduction and a conclusion.  There should be a thesis statement in the introduction.  The thesis statement is the sentence that explains the paper’s focus.  In this case, the thesis statement should be a brief answer to the question that also tells the reader the major issues that the paper will address.

When using quotations, and there should be some, be sure to include the page and/or line number of the book. Just put them in parentheses at the end of the sentence.  Example:  (Strayer, page 235)
